Shoptrader

Our online store was developed using software from Shoptrader B.V. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. Shoptrader B.V. has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose.

Under the agreement we have entered into with them, Shoptrader B.V. is obligated to implement appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Dutch-smart uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shoptrader B.V. reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve its services.

Web Hosting

www.dutch-smart.nl

We purchase web hosting and email services from Transip.nl and other companies. Companies such as Transip.nl process personal data on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata regarding the use of the services. This is not personal data. Companies such as Transip.nl have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Companies such as Transip.nl are bound by a confidentiality agreement.

Email and mailing lists

YMLP

Our website uses YMLP, a third party that handles email traffic originating from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent via YMLP’s servers. YMLP will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website, you will see the “unsubscribe” link. If you click on this, you will no longer receive emails from our website. We use the Billink platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. (personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable retention period applies. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile or to documents we have created in connection with your engagement.

Your Rights

Under applicable Dutch and European law, as a data subject, you have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them.

In principle, to prevent misuse, we will only send copies of your data to the email address we already have on file. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or, for example, by mail, we will ask you to verify your identity. We maintain a record of processed requests; in the case of a right-to-be-forgotten request, we store anonymized data. You will receive all copies and extracts of data in the machine-readable format we use within our systems.

In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing our services in such a case, as the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights

In applicable cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Dutch-smart. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is valid, we will provide you with copies of the data we process (or have processed) and will permanently cease processing thereafter.

You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a manner that triggers this right. If you believe this is the case, please contact our privacy officer.
