When should you use relaxing herbs?

You can use our products in all kinds of situations. The point, of course, is that they help you feel calmer. This can be helpful, for example, in the following situations:

  • A busy period at work
  • An argument with someone close to you
  • Frustration when something has gone wrong
  • You feel like you still have a lot to do, making it hard to see the big picture

Of course, you can also use some of these herbs to help you fall asleep more easily or to simply feel relaxed for a while. Nothing beats sitting on the couch with a cup of soothing herbal tea after a busy day. If you use these herbs in moderation (no more than one or two cups of herbal tea per day), you can use most of them every day (unless otherwise indicated). Be careful if you have low blood pressure, as you may often be less tolerant of these specific remedies.

Types of Relaxants

You can choose the form in which you’d like to purchase our herbs. They’re available in their natural form, such as leaves or seeds. In some cases, you’ll need a vaporizer to vape them, but you can almost always simply brew them into tea. Instead of tea, in some cases you can chew the leaves to help you relax. We also sell herbal extracts and tinctures. In herbal extracts, the herbs are pulverized into a powder that contains only the active ingredients. This powder is easier to take, for example by snorting it. This allows the herbs to be absorbed into the bloodstream more quickly, helping you relax sooner. Tinctures are highly concentrated herbal extracts in liquid form. You typically use them by letting a few drops dissolve under your tongue.

Side Effects

When buying these calming remedies, make sure there are no unusual side effects. Some herbs can make you very sleepy or, conversely, give you a headache. In that case, it is not advisable to drive. Always read the instructions carefully; they explain how to take the herbs (and what not to do) and list any possible side effects. Always use them in moderation!
