How does a drug test work?

Before you get started with a drug test, you need to make sure you buy the right one. Each test is designed for a specific type of drug. In our online store, it’s always clear which drugs a test is suitable for and exactly how it works. Most drug tests use a color reaction. You mix the drugs with the test solution, and this mixture then turns a specific color. Using the color chart included with the drug test, you can see which substances are and aren’t present in the drugs. So you’ll see right away if your drugs aren’t exactly what they seem! By the way, you don’t have to worry that these tests will prevent you from using your drugs. Almost all tests use only a small amount of your drugs, so you’ll still have enough left to use yourself.

The most important benefit of testing your own drugs is, of course, your safety. You want to be sure you’re not taking junk that’s bad for your health. Normally, you’d have to send your drugs to a lab to have them tested. Now you can do it yourself! In literally no time at all, you can see if there are any harmful substances in your drugs. Plus, a drug test is pretty cheap. Many single-use tests cost less than 5 euros; other tests last longer and are therefore a bit more expensive. Plus, testing your drugs takes no effort at all. You use a small amount, and within a minute you’ll know if your drugs are clean. Please note that these tests never provide a full guarantee of safe drugs. Dope or Nope, as seen on TV

Have you seen Dope or Nope on the BNN program Radar? Although the test is (unfairly) portrayed in a rather negative light, we still want to share it with you. In the Radar episode, the wrong drug test is used to test the purity of XTC; the test used is only for identifying MDMA in XTC. Our MDMA Purity drug test is used to determine purity. Furthermore, the segment indicates a high purity (67%) of cocaine, which, according to clinical chemist Marc Elisen, is incorrect—though opinions on this are divided.
Of course, this does not rule out the possibility that dangerous substances may still be present in the sample. Fortunately, our response is clearly displayed at the bottom of the page.
