These terms are often used interchangeably. Technically speaking, a bong is a type of water pipe specifically designed for smoking dry herbs. In a traditional shisha or hookah, the tobacco is heated indirectly by charcoal. Both filter the smoke through water, resulting in a smoother inhalation.

A shisha pipe (also known as a hookah) is typically larger, has a separate water chamber, and is designed for extended use with special shisha tobacco. A water pipe in the context of a head shop is more compact and is more commonly used with loose herbs or tobacco. Both filter the smoke through water.

In addition to the hookah itself, you’ll need tobacco or a tobacco-free filling, a bowl, charcoal, and possibly tongs for handling the coals. Many hookahs come with a hose and mouthpiece. When purchasing, always check which accessories are included and which ones you need to order separately.

Regular cleaning extends the lifespan and improves the taste. Rinse glass bongs with warm water after each use, and use special cleaning solutions or isopropyl alcohol for stubborn residue. This depends on your budget and how often you use it. Metal grinders last longer and grind more finely than plastic ones, which can also release microplastics. A 4-piece grinder has the advantage of a pollen screen and pollen catcher; a simple 2-piece model is sufficient for occasional use. If in doubt, you can always contact our customer service for personalized advice.

First, freeze the grinder for 30 minutes; this will make any sticky residue brittle, making it easier to remove. Then disassemble all the parts and use a small brush to brush away any residue from the teeth and screen. For stubborn residue: soak the parts in isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher), let them soak for 20 minutes, and rinse thoroughly with water. Let them dry completely before reassembling the grinder.

Rolling papers are loose sheets of paper that you roll yourself, giving you more control over thickness and length. Cones are pre-rolled papers with a filter; all you have to do is fill them and twist them closed. Cones are faster and easier; rolling papers offer more freedom. Both are available in various sizes and materials, such as rice paper, hemp fibers, or unbleached paper.

A one-hitter is a small pipe designed for a single small amount of cannabis; it’s compact and discreet. A regular pipe has a larger bowl and is suitable for taking several puffs in a row. For occasional use or on the go, a one-hitter is more practical; at home, a pipe is easier to use.

For most applications, a scale with an accuracy of 0.01 grams is sufficient. If you’re working with very small quantities, such as in microdosing, a milligram scale with an accuracy of 0.001 grams is recommended. Also note the maximum capacity: a pocket scale usually weighs up to 100–500 grams, while a tabletop model can handle up to several kilograms. Which incense has the strongest scent and burns the longest? Resin incense (loose resin on a charcoal briquette) generally has the strongest scent and burns the longest, but requires charcoal and a burner. Incense sticks burn for 20 to 45 minutes, depending on their thickness. Incense cones burn for a shorter time but produce a more concentrated scent. The strength also varies by scent type and brand.

Yes, Zippo lighters are fully refillable and, with proper care, will last a lifetime. Use only Zippo-branded lighter fluid or a naphtha fuel of equivalent quality. The wick and flint are also replaceable and available separately.
