Where a classic lighter produces an open, sensitive flame that goes out at the slightest breeze, the Turbo Jet uses a storm burner: the gas is forced through a narrow opening, creating a concentrated, intense jet flame that keeps working well outdoors too. That makes it practical for lighting a cigar, pipe or candle on a patio or in the garden.

The lighter is refillable: there is a filling valve on the bottom for regular butane gas, so you can top it up again and again instead of throwing it away. A wheel near the filling valve adjusts the flame strength, from low for a quick light to high for a stronger flame.

Use and maintenance

Refill the lighter with butane gas through the valve on the bottom, preferably in a well-ventilated space and away from open flame. Let the lighter rest for a moment after filling before using it, so the gas can settle. Adjust the flame strength as needed with the wheel.
