King Size Deluxe Cigar

Smoking King Size Deluxe Rolling Papers

The Smoking brand is originally Spanish: the Miquel papermaking family laid the groundwork in 1879 in Barcelona, where the company Miquel y Costas Hermanos was founded and specialised in thin cigarette papers. In 1924 the company registered the Smoking brand name, and five years later, in 1929, it won the Grand Prix at the Barcelona International Exhibition; that recognition helped put the brand on the map worldwide. Today, Smoking is sold in more than 80 countries and is one of the most widely exported rolling paper brands in the world. This King Size Deluxe version is the premium option in the range, measuring 110 x 44mm with 33 papers per booklet.

Besides Smoking, the parent company Miquel y Costas & Miquel also produces several other well-known rolling paper brands and supplies paper under numerous private labels, underlining the scale of its paper production in Barcelona.

Use

Carefully tear one paper from the booklet along the gummed edge. Fill it with finely ground herb or tobacco, shape it into an even cylinder, and roll the paper tightly around the filling starting from the bottom edge, so no loose spots are left. Moisten the gummed edge with your tongue or a damp finger and press it down to seal the joint or cigarette. A paper that's rolled evenly and sealed tightly burns more calmly and consistently.

Storage

Store the booklet flat and dry, preferably in the cardboard sleeve it comes with, so the papers don't crease or stick together from moisture.
