King Size Green Cigarette

Smoking King Size Green Hemp Rolling Papers

Smoking King Size Green is the hemp version within the rolling paper range of the Spanish brand Smoking. Brothers Miquel y Costas started producing cigarette paper in Barcelona in 1868; the Smoking brand name was registered in 1924 and broke through internationally in 1929 after winning the Grand Prix at the Barcelona International Exhibition. Where the Blue version is made from plain paper, this sheet is made from 100% hemp fibre. Hemp fibre is naturally a bit coarser and more porous than wood pulp, which results in a slightly thicker paper known for an even, slow burn.

Like the Blue version, this paper comes in the extra large King Size format of 110 x 53 mm, large enough for a generous filling without needing to stick two sheets together. The hemp fibre also gives the paper a slightly natural, light brown tone instead of the crisp white of wood pulp paper.

How to use it

Fold the sheet along the gummed edge and spread the filling evenly along its length before you start rolling. Roll from the plain side toward the gummed strip and only moisten the gum once the rest is tightly rolled. Thanks to the slightly coarser structure of hemp fibre, this paper offers a touch more grip while rolling than a smooth wood pulp paper, which some users prefer.
