Treasure Coast XXL - 2100cc Mushroom Grow Kit
Treasure Coast is a Psilocybe cubensis variety originally wild-collected in the Treasure Coast region on Florida's Atlantic coast, around St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties. In that subtropical climate, in cattle-ranching areas where the mushroom naturally grows on dung, the strain is known among growers for fast colonisation and dense, prolific harvests. Treasure Coast has relatively slender stems and golden-brown caps that bruise strongly blue when damaged, indicating an above-average psilocybin content. This XXL grow kit contains 2100cc of mycelium on grain substrate and is aimed at growers who have already used a smaller kit and are ready for a bigger volume.
The kit is complete: alongside the mycelium block you get a grow bag with an air filter and paperclips, plus a detailed step-by-step manual so you can get started at home without complicated preparation. With good care, a 2100cc kit can produce a substantial amount of fresh mushrooms across several flushes, with the first flush usually giving the biggest harvest.
Dosage
This product is a grow kit and does not contain any ready-to-use mushrooms; how much you eventually harvest and use is entirely up to you. When trying freshly harvested Treasure Coast for the first time, start with a low dose and build up gradually: the strain is known as relatively potent, and the moisture content of fresh mushrooms can vary between harvests.
Usage
Soak the mycelium block as described in the manual, then place it in the included grow bag in a bright spot out of direct sunlight, at a temperature of roughly 20 to 24°C. After soaking it usually takes 1 to 2 weeks before the first pinheads appear; the mushrooms then grow quickly and are typically ready to harvest within 5 to 7 days. Harvest just before the veil under the cap breaks for the best result.
Storage
Don't store the kit for long: it's best to set it up as soon as you receive it, since keeping it in the fridge is only advisable for 1 to 2 days at most before yield starts to suffer. Harvested mushrooms are best used fresh or dried for longer storage.
