Change the water after every use. For a deep clean, fill the bong with isopropyl alcohol (at least 90%) and a generous handful of coarse salt. Cover the openings, shake firmly, then rinse well with warm water. The diffuser downstem needs extra attention, since that is where residue builds up fastest.
