Texas 300 x 0.1g | Digital Precision Scale

Texas 300 x 0.1 grams - digital precision scale

The Texas is a digital precision scale by USA-Weigh, a brand that has made affordable, good-quality scales for years. The oval, flip-open design protects the weighing surface when the scale isn't in use: the lid opens flat into a weighing platform and closes back into a compact, egg-shaped unit. With a measuring range up to 300 grams and an accuracy of 0.1 gram, the Texas suits slightly larger amounts than a scale with a 100-gram range.

The display and control buttons sit in the lower part of the housing, right below the weighing platform, so you can read the weight without having to pick the scale up.

The egg-shaped design sits comfortably in the hand, and the rounded edges keep the lid from getting caught when you carry the scale in a bag alongside other items.

Use and care

Flip the lid open flat on a stable surface and switch the scale on with the I/O button. Wait until the display reads zero, and use the M button to switch units or the T button to tare, so the weight of an empty tray doesn't count. Keep the weighing surface clean and dry, and close the lid again after use to protect the display during transport.
