Use and calibration
Calibrate the scale before first use with the included 100-gram calibration weight. Place the scale on a flat, stable surface. The raised platform and angled display allow you to read the weight while sitting upright without having to bend over the scale.
The tare function automatically subtracts the weight of the lid or another container, so you only measure the contents. Use the mode button to switch between the six weight units: gram, ounce, troy ounce, pennyweight, carat, and grain.
MTT-100 vs. CK-20: Which One to Choose?
The MTT-100 and the CK-20 are both On Balance milligram-class scales, but with different profiles. The CK-20 offers the highest accuracy (0.001 g) at a lower capacity (20 g) and is equipped with a draft shield. The MTT-100 weighs up to 100 grams with an accuracy of 0.005 g, without a draft shield but with a larger platform. Choose the CK-20 if you need maximum precision for very small quantities. Choose the MTT-100 if you need more capacity and 5-milligram accuracy is sufficient.
