Myco MY-100-BK Mini Scale
The MY-100-BK is the entry-level model in On Balance’s Myco series. Weighing just 65 grams and measuring 9.3 x 6.1 x 1.9 cm, this is one of the smallest scales in our lineup. The oval design fits comfortably in your hand and slips easily into a pocket or bag. Despite its compact size, the MY-100-BK weighs up to 100 grams with an accuracy of 0.01 grams, sufficient for accurately weighing herbs, supplements, and powders.
The removable lid protects the weighing platform when on the go and serves as a weighing tray during use. The green-backlit LCD screen is easy to read even in low light. With four weighing units (grams, ounces, grains, and pennyweights) and a tare function, the MY-100-BK is easy to use.

Usage
Place the scale on a flat surface and turn it on. Use the tare button to zero out the weight of the lid or an external container. Use the mode button to switch between the four weight units. The automatic shut-off function turns the scale off after 3 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
The MY-100-BK can be calibrated using a 100-gram weight (sold separately). Regular calibration is recommended if you use the scale intensively. If you use empty capsules in addition to the scale for dosing powders, you can use the tare function to subtract the weight of the capsule and thus determine the exact content.

Yes, with a resolution of 0.01 grams, you can accurately weigh microdoses of truffles (typically 0.5 to 1.5 grams). For higher precision with very small quantities (under 0.5 grams), a half-milligram scale (0.005 g) is a better choice.
Is a calibration weight included?
No, the MY-100-BK does not come with a calibration weight. A separate 100-gram calibration weight is available for purchase. The scale does come with 2 AAA batteries and a removable lid.
