• Origin and Tradition: Sananga is made from the potent root bark and bark of the Tabernaemontana undulata shrub, a “Milkwood” species within the Apocynaceae family. We source the plant material from the Katukina tribe in the southwestern Amazon region of Brazil. This tribe has harvested and used this plant sustainably since the time before contact with outsiders.
