• Origin and Tradition: Sananga is made from the potent root bark and bark of the Tabernaemontana undulata shrub, a “Milkwood” species within the Apocynaceae family. We source the plant material from the Katukina tribe in the southwestern Amazon region of Brazil. This tribe has harvested and used this plant sustainably since before contact with outsiders.

• Traditional Use and Spiritual Significance: The Katukina tribe regards Sananga as an ally plant used for hunting and spiritual growth. It helps dispel what they call panema.
