Teletoot XL Snuff Jar - Amber Glass

The Teletoot XL Snuff Jar is made of amber-coloured glass, a material traditionally used to shield the contents of jars from light. The inside of the screw cap has a small spoon, so you can scoop a neat amount of powder straight away without any extra tool. At 60 mm long and 22 mm in diameter, the jar holds a supply of roughly 3 grams.

The combination of glass and a built-in spoon makes this model a bit more refined than a simple plastic jar: the amber glass has a classic look, and the shape of the cap stays easy to grip, even with slightly damp fingers.

Glass has the advantage of being chemically inert: it doesn't absorb or release any odour or taste, unlike some types of plastic. That keeps the snuff powder odour-neutral over time, even if the jar gets refilled regularly. Use and care

Unscrew the cap, use the spoon to scoop a neat amount of powder, and screw the cap back on right away to stop anything blowing away. Rinse the glass with lukewarm water now and then and let it dry fully before refilling, so no powder residue sticks to the inside.
