Compact jar with a chained spoon

The Snuff Jar with Spoon is made of 80% high-quality glass and 20% hardened plastic, which also has UV-protective properties, shielding the contents from light. The spoon is attached to the cap by a short chain, so you can't lose the loose part the way you sometimes can with a separate spoon. At 36 mm, this mini model is compact enough for a trouser pocket, bag or toiletry case.

The amber-coloured body and silver-coloured cap give the jar a slightly more refined look than a plain see-through jar, while the principle stays the same: unscrew the cap, scoop with the spoon, screw the cap back on. The chain is made of metal and short enough not to dangle loosely during use, but long enough to unscrew the cap fully without the spoon getting in the way. Because the spoon has a fixed size, you get roughly the same amount each time you scoop, which is handy if you'd rather not weigh out a fresh amount every time. That keeps dosing reasonably predictable even on the go, without a scale on hand.

Use and care

Unscrew the cap, use the spoon to scoop a neat amount of powder, then screw the cap back on right away; the chain keeps the spoon out of the way and stops it coming loose. Clean the glass now and then with a dry or slightly damp cloth and let it dry fully before refilling.
