L-tryptophan is a precursor to 5-HTP, which in turn is a precursor to serotonin and melatonin, neurotransmitters that regulate our mood and sleep patterns. Tryptophan is often taken after using certain substances to aid recovery.

Tryptophan is also a precursor to niacin (vitamin B3), endogenous DMT, and many other important substances. However, the body cannot produce tryptophan on its own. It is one of the 8 essential amino acids that we must obtain through our diet. 

Usage

Take 1 to 2 capsules daily on an empty stomach with fruit juice. For a good night’s sleep, take 30–60 minutes before bedtime. To recover from serotonin-depleting drugs like MDMA, take one capsule before going to sleep and another upon waking.

Warning

Do not use in combination with MAO inhibitors or other antidepressants.
