Description

Kuntanawa Kapaxanba Rapé – 7 grams

About Kapaxanba Rapé:
Kapaxanba Rapé is made by a member of the Kuntanawa tribe. This special Rapé is prepared with a base of locally organically grown herbs, including Kapaxanba and Lourinho, along with ash from the Sapota tree. The Lourinho herb gives this Rapé its unique character and provides a pleasant, fresh scent. Lourinho is used for spiritual cleansing. Additionally, this blend includes the local plant Kapaxanba, also known as Samsara, which has a very distinct and delightful scent. This exclusive Rapé has a strongly aromatic character and is particularly well-suited for shamanic ceremonies.

About the Kuntanawa Tribe:
The Kuntanawa tribe was nearly wiped out as a result of the mass killings during the rubber boom. After the rubber boom, only a single family remained, and it wasn’t until the early 2000s that a small group of Kuntanawa began reclaiming their indigenous heritage. Unfortunately, their culture remains under threat, and the Kuntanawa still struggle to obtain full ethnic recognition and reclaim their territory. Today, there are only about 250 members scattered across the Acre region in Brazil. To survive, the Kuntanawa join forces with other Pano-speaking tribes and organize festivals together to share their traditions, rituals, and culture with foreign visitors. This small Pano-speaking tribe places great value on the ritual use of Ayahuasca to teach and guide them. The Kuntanawa even strongly believe that Ayahuasca will reveal their ancient knowledge and restore their partially lost traditions (Pantoja et al., 2014). Their language, however, appears to have been irretrievably lost.

Use:
The powdered rapé can be blown into someone’s nasal passages using a Tepi pipe. Alternatively, you can blow it into your own nasal passages using a Kuripe pipe.
Dosage:
Start with a small amount, such as 0.2 to 0.4 grams per nostril. It is also advisable not to start with a rapé that is too potent right away!

Warning:
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if you have high or low blood pressure, heart and/or lung conditions, diabetes, are pregnant, or are taking medication, drugs, or alcohol. Store in a cool, dark place.
