Usage
The most direct method is to eat the truffles whole or in small pieces on an empty stomach. If you are prone to nausea, it is better to make tea: finely chop the sclerotia, pour water at a maximum of 70°C over it, and let it steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain out the solids and drink the tea slowly. The steeping process can be repeated for a second, milder serving.
Combining with alcohol or other psychoactive substances is strongly discouraged. The interaction is unpredictable and significantly increases the risk of an unpleasant experience.
Storage
Store the truffles unopened in the refrigerator at 2–4°C until the expiration date. Consume as soon as possible after opening. A slight blue discoloration due to damage is normal and indicates oxidation of psilocybin, not spoilage.
