Dabbing is becoming increasingly popular, but unfortunately, there aren’t many countries in the world where the necessary concentrates, such as oil or wax, are readily available for purchase. With this extractor from Oil Black Leaf®, Ganjapreneurs can quickly and easily extract the finest oils and potent concentrates from flowers and other plant material (e.g., leaf trimmings). The Oil Black Leaf® extractor runs on butane gas. However, we recommend using D.M.E. (Dimethyl Ether), as it is less explosive, non-toxic, and much more efficient.

Loosely fill the extraction container with well-dried and finely chopped plant material. Seal it, ensuring the rubber ring provides a proper seal. Insert the can of butane gas or D.M.E. and let the solvent flow into the extractor. Soon, the liquid extract will begin to flow out the other side, pre-filtered by the replaceable screen. Don’t forget to place a sufficiently large, heat-resistant bowl underneath—ideally one that isn’t sticky. After about 24 hours, the precious, sticky concentrate can be scraped off.

This type of extraction causes the extraction container to become extremely cold, so protective gloves are usually required. The Oil Black Leaf® extractor is therefore equipped with a non-slip silicone protective cover. For safety reasons, however, we strongly recommend wearing safety goggles throughout the entire process!

Easily make your own hash oil using lighter fluid. 

1. Unscrew the cylinder, fill it with dried plant material (trimmings or buds). 
2. Make sure the filter (a piece of coffee filter) is placed at the bottom of the screw section (near the holes) 
3. Unscrew the cylinder again
4. Place a can of lighter fluid on top of the cylinder and press the can until you hear the gas flowing. (Make sure you are in a well-ventilated area without open flames, preferably outdoors.) 
5. Let the canister empty completely and collect the liquid in a glass bowl.
6. Let the liquid evaporate in the bowl for 24 hours; the hash oil can be scraped out of the bowl after 24 hours. 

Warnings

• Do not smoke under any circumstances while extracting the hash oil; you are working with gas! 
• Do not remove the butane gas cylinder from the extractor for the first 30 seconds. 
• Do not inhale the gases directly. 
• Do not extract indoors if the area is not well-ventilated.
