Golf Ball Grinder: disguised as a golf ball
The Golf Ball Grinder 2-piece, 40 mm is shaped like an actual golf ball, dimples and all. The idea is simple: a grinder that is not immediately recognisable as one, handy on the go or just a fun eye-catcher on the table. The housing is made of hard plastic, sturdy enough to survive a drop and lighter than a metal grinder of the same size.
Inside sits a set of sharp plastic teeth that break down herbs, tobacco or other dry herbs finely and evenly. With a diameter of 40 mm, the golf ball is large enough to hold a decent amount of material per session, yet still compact enough to carry in a pocket or bag.
Use and maintenance
Fill the bottom half with dry herb, screw the top half (with the teeth) on and twist it a number of times until the material is fine enough. Because this is a 2-piece model, it lacks the separate sieve chamber with catch tray found on 3- and 4-piece grinders; all ground material stays in the same chamber. For clean operation, brush the teeth regularly with a small brush or cotton swab; let the grinder dry properly before closing it again, especially if there is leftover moisture or sticky residue.
