3-Piece Plastic Grinder

This 3-piece grinder consists of a grinding chamber with sharp teeth on the inside, a catch chamber underneath, and a lid that holds the two together with a magnet. Coarsely cut herbs go into the top chamber; turning the lid a few times grinds them down, and they fall through the opening into the chamber below, ready to use.

Because the grinder is made of plastic, it is lighter than a metal version and less prone to denting if dropped. The magnetic lid keeps the grinder from opening by accident in a bag or pocket, even upside down.

Use and maintenance

Fill the grinding chamber with a small amount of material, close the lid and turn it a few times until it is fine enough. Clean the teeth occasionally with a small brush to remove built-up residue, which keeps the grinding smooth. Do not wash plastic parts in the dishwasher, to avoid warping from the heat.
