This grinder from the Magno Mix brand is made of aluminium and CNC-milled, a process that produces sharper, more precisely fitting teeth than cast or stamped models. The lid features an engraved Magno Mix logo and a knurled edge, so you can get a firm grip and twist it open even with damp or cold fingers. The two halves slide together smoothly and close tightly enough to keep material from spilling out while grinding.

At 40 mm in diameter, this is the most compact model in the Magno line at Dutch-Smart, suited to anyone looking for a small, discreet grinder to take along. The design consists of two parts: the top section with the sharp, diamond-shaped grinding teeth, and the bottom section that serves as a collection chamber for the ground material.

Use and maintenance

Place a small amount of herbs on the teeth of the top section, twist the lid on, and turn it back and forth a few times until the material is finely ground. Then gently tap the grinder out over a rolling paper or bowl. Clean the teeth regularly with a small brush: with heavy use, resin builds up between the teeth and makes turning harder. A cotton swab with a bit of isopropyl alcohol works well for stubborn residue; let the parts dry fully before putting the grinder back together.
