Flamez Acrylic Grinder

Flamez Acrylic Grinder

This grinder from Flamez is made from recycled plastic and consists of two parts: a lid with teeth on the inside and a lower chamber that catches the ground material. At 50 mm across, it fits easily into a pocket or case. The brown colour and the storage compartment in the lower half make this a practical model for anyone who wants to carry a small amount of finely ground herb or tobacco without a separate tin. Because it's made from recycled plastic, it's also one of the lighter and more affordable options in the grinder range: handy on the go, or as a backup next to a pricier metal grinder at home.

Use and maintenance

Place the material loosely in the grinding chamber, fit the lid and turn it several times until everything is evenly ground. Tap the grinder gently over a paper or pipe to release the ground material, and keep the rest in the storage compartment in the lower half, so you don't have to grind a fresh batch for the next roll-up. Clean the teeth regularly with a small brush so sticky residue doesn't build up and grinding stays smooth. Don't put the plastic parts in the dishwasher and avoid hot or aggressive cleaning products; the heat and chemicals can warp the material or make it dull. A dry cloth or soft brush is usually enough for the outside.
