Classic 2-piece metal grinder - 40mm medium

Metal Grinder Classic, 2-Piece - Medium (40 mm)

This grinder is made of metal and built from two halves with sharp, durable teeth that break your herb down. A strong magnet keeps the two halves aligned while you turn it, so nothing shifts or comes loose mid-grind. The classic model comes in three sizes; this is the medium, with a diameter of roughly 40 mm, a comfortable size between pocket and table format.

Metal holds up well to daily use: the teeth stay sharp longer than on plastic versions, and the material is easy to clean. Being a 2-piece model, there's no separate kief chamber, but it is a compact, no-fuss grinder that's ready to use straight away and easy to carry in a pocket or bag.

How to use

Place a small amount of herb in the bottom half, put the top half on and turn it a few times until the herb is ground to your liking. Don't overfill it for the best result.

Care

Clean the teeth every so often with a small brush or cotton swab to remove resin residue, which keeps them sharp and the magnetic closure moving smoothly. For a deeper clean, isopropyl alcohol works well, as long as it's fully dry before you use the grinder again.

A metal grinder is a good pick if you want a durable, sturdy model that can take a knock and last for years. Alongside this classic grinder, Dutch-Smart also stocks the other two sizes, plus a range of wooden and plastic grinders.
