We have chosen to use high-quality stainless steel following an extensive testing phase. The materials selected for the ZenPen® give it the look and feel of a high-quality piece of equipment. For example, the cutting point that cuts into the resin has been carefully designed. The placement of the grip and the most efficient and effective cutting surface for creating the best resin string have also been carefully considered. These are just a few examples, and we are still making improvements.

The cutting head, internal rod, and external cylinder are made of stainless steel. The clip is made of stainless iron.
