Flamez Metal Grinder - 30 mm

Besides papers and filter tips, Flamez also produces a range of aluminium grinders, available in several diameters and in 2-part or 4-part designs. This version has a 30 mm diameter and a grey finish, placing it among the more compact sizes in the line. The aluminium housing is sturdy enough for daily use and fits easily in a pocket or bag.

The grinder consists of two halves fitted with diamond-shaped teeth that turn against each other. Unlike the 4-part Flamez grinders, this model has no pollen screen or kief catcher: all ground material stays in the top half, ready to be tapped out. That keeps the operation simple for anyone who does not need to collect a separate kief layer.

Use and maintenance

Spread a portion of herbs over the lower teeth and set the top half in place. Twist the two halves firmly against each other a few times until the material is ground to your liking. Pull the grinder apart and tap the contents into a bowl or joint. With frequent use, resin can build up between the teeth and make turning feel heavier. Clean the teeth occasionally with a small brush or a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol, and let the grinder dry fully before using it again.
