Wooden Leaf Grinder - Large

This grinder is made of wood and features an engraved cannabis-leaf design on the lid, setting it apart from the smooth metal and acrylic versions in the range. Inside are metal pins that grind the herb or tobacco as you turn the lid. With a diameter of approximately 6 cm, a height of approximately 2.8 cm and a weight of approximately 57 grams, it sits solidly in the hand. This model comes in two sizes; this version is the larger, Large variant. Wood is a natural material: every grinder has its own grain pattern, so no two are entirely identical, and it feels different in the hand than the cooler metal or acrylic grinders in the range.

Use and maintenance

Spread the material evenly across the grinding chamber, fit the lid and turn it several times until it's fine enough. Tap the grinder gently over a paper to empty it. Wood needs a bit more care than plastic or metal: clean the metal pins occasionally with a dry brush and wipe the outside with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Don't submerge the grinder in water or let it get wet, as wood can swell, discolour or crack as a result. Store it dry and out of direct sunlight so the wood engraving stays intact.
