Dutch-smart Trucker Cap - Green / Black

Green-black trucker cap

This trucker cap pairs a structured green front with a black mesh back, with the Dutch Smart logo embroidered on the front panel. Green and black is an earthy combination that reads less bold than brighter color schemes, yet still makes a clear statement thanks to the contrast.

The structured front keeps its shape even after frequent wear, while the mesh back provides enough ventilation to wear the cap on warmer days too. An adjustable snapback closure at the back makes it fit most head sizes (one size fits most).

Use and care

Do not machine wash the cap, as this can affect the shape of the structured front. Clean stains with a damp cloth and mild soap and let the cap dry flat or on a cap form. Store it on a flat surface or a hook to prevent creasing.

Where the trucker cap comes from

The trucker cap originated in the American Midwest, where farm and feed companies in the 1960s and 1970s gave away free caps with a foam front and mesh back to farmers as rolling advertising. From the 1990s onward the cap was picked up by skate and music culture and grew into a staple of casual streetwear.
