Pipe Filter - Steel (5-pack)

A pipe screen sits at the bottom of a pipe bowl and keeps loose herbs or tobacco in place, while still letting smoke or air pass through. This set of five screens is made of stainless steel rather than copper, which makes them better suited to repeated heating: steel deforms less easily and doesn't oxidise as quickly as copper, so a single screen lasts you longer.

With a diameter of 20mm, these screens fit most standard pipe bowls, one-hitters and bongs with a removable bowl. Since they come as loose screens, you can simply swap one out as soon as it clogs or warps, without having to replace the whole pipe.

Why a loose screen

A one-hitter is a simple, straight pipe without a built-in filter system, where a loose screen in the bowl is the only barrier against pulling in loose herbs or tobacco. With pipes that have a fixed, non-removable screen, a clog often means replacing the whole bowl; with loose screens like these, you only swap out the screen itself, which is cheaper and more practical over time.

Usage

Place a screen flat at the bottom of the bowl before filling it, so it blocks herbs or tobacco but doesn't restrict airflow. Replace the screen as soon as you notice the draw getting harder or the screen clogging up.

Maintenance

Rinse a used screen briefly or let it soak to loosen residue; if it's badly deformed or punctured, use one of the spare screens from the pack.
