Stone Pipe - Two Parts - 9 cm
This stone pipe consists of two loose parts that slide together into one straight 9 cm pipe: an elongated, wedge-shaped natural stone body and a solid wood bowl that attaches at the end. On its own, the stone piece looks like a small sculpture; put together, it becomes a fully functional pipe in a few seconds.
Material and build
The body is carved from natural stone, with the characteristic veining and colour variation of solid rock, so every piece looks slightly different. The bowl, where you fill in your herbs, is turned from solid wood and slots into a recess at the top of the stone body. Because the two parts separate, you can clean or replace the bowl on its own without having to clean the whole body.
Use
Slide the wooden bowl into the recess of the stone body until it sits firmly, fill it with a small amount of finely ground herbs and light it while drawing from the other end. If you are unsure whether the bowl is seated properly, press it in gently before lighting so it does not wobble while you smoke. After use you can separate the two parts again for transport or storage.
Care
Empty the wooden bowl after use and tap out loose residue; wood absorbs moisture and odour differently from stone, so let the bowl dry fully before putting it back. Clean the stone body with a damp cloth and, if needed, a pipe cleaner in the recess. Store the two parts together in a pouch or case so you do not misplace the bowl.
