Wooden pirate pipe - 8.5 cm

Compact wooden pirate pipe

This pirate pipe is made of wood and finished with a black lacquered bowl, giving it a sturdy look alongside the decorative pirate-style design. Wood has long been a popular material for smoking pipes: it's lightweight, heats up more slowly than metal, and gives the pipe a natural, handcrafted look. At 8.5 cm long, this pipe fits easily into a pocket, jacket, or bag, making it a good choice for use on the go, on a terrace, or as a compact spare next to a larger pipe at home. The one-piece design means you can start using it right away, with no parts to assemble.

Use and maintenance

Fill the bowl with a small amount of smoking material and press it down lightly so the draw stays smooth without clogging the pipe. Take small puffs when lighting until the material glows evenly. Clean the pipe regularly after use with a pipe cleaner or cotton swab to remove residue and tar buildup from the airway; this keeps the flavour clean and stops the draw from getting heavier over time. Let the wood dry thoroughly after cleaning before putting the pipe away, so no moisture is left inside the channel. Store the pipe somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight: too much moisture or strong sun can make the lacquer on the bowl flake and cause the wood to expand or crack over time.
