But when you pull apart the two borosilicate glass tubes, the one-hitter turns into a hand vaporizer. The herbs are packed into the now-extended glass tube, which acts as a vapour chamber. It's important to heat this glass tube from the outside (without direct contact with the herbs) until the herbs vaporize and can be inhaled. Use and cleaning

To smoke: fill the bowl, light directly and draw through the mouthpiece. To vape: pull the two glass tubes apart, fill the extended tube, heat it from the outside without touching the herbs, and inhale the vapour. Because it's all borosilicate glass, clean it regularly with isopropyl alcohol (at least 90%) to prevent residue, and handle the glass with care.
