Hillbilly Pumpkin: about the strain

The Hillbilly Pumpkin is a variation of Psilocybe cubensis from the Hillbilly lineage. This lineage is associated with the southern United States, Arkansas in particular, and is known for vigorous growth and high yields. The "Pumpkin" designation refers to its tendency to form rounded, sometimes slightly flattened caps with a warm orange hue. In cultivation communities the strain is valued for its fast colonisation and abundant fruiting, producing dense clusters of mushrooms. Its adaptability and strong performance make this variation reliable to work with.

Hillbilly Pumpkin mushrooms are generally regarded as moderately potent. The active compounds in Psilocybe cubensis are psilocybin and psilocin. Storage and shelf life

Keep the grow bag sealed in the fridge at 6-8°C. Stored correctly, the bag lasts up to 6 months. Do not freeze: temperatures below 0°C damage the mycelium permanently. Use as soon as possible after receipt for the best results.
