Unique design: the High Society cylinder bong
Most glass bongs for cannabis have a vertical base, a straight tube, and a side-mounted bowl. The High Society bong flips that concept on its head: the base is a 14 cm long horizontal cylinder that serves as the water reservoir. The tube curves sharply to the upper left, providing a low and stable resting position on the table while also creating an ergonomic mouthpiece that faces upward toward the user.
The downstem runs vertically through the top of the cylinder and down into the water, providing the standard water filtration for the cannabis smoke. At the bottom of the cylinder is a carb hole (also known as a kick hole): cover this while inhaling to build up the smoke, release it for the final draw. Usage
Fill the cylinder base with water until the bottom of the downstem is just below the water surface. Cover the carb hole at the bottom with a finger, fill the bowl with cannabis, and light it while taking a draw. Release the vent hole at the desired moment to release the accumulated cannabis smoke all at once. Clean regularly with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt, holding the cylinder horizontally so the mixture reaches the entire reservoir.

How do I use the kick hole on this bong?
The kick hole, also known as a carb hole, is located at the bottom of the cylinder. Cover it with your thumb or finger while lighting and inhaling the weed. This keeps the airflow closed and allows the smoke to build up in the water reservoir. When you’re done with the draw, release the kick hole. The influx of fresh air causes all the accumulated smoke to be released at once through the tube and the mouthpiece.
Does this bong fit well in the hand?
The 14 cm long horizontal cylinder fits comfortably in one hand, similar to a can or bottle. The curved tube then runs upward toward your mouth. For right-handed users, it makes the most sense to hold the cylinder in your right hand with your thumb on the flip valve at the bottom, while your left hand holds the bowl. This is a different grip than with a classic bong, but you’ll get used to it quickly.
Is the mouthpiece interchangeable?
Yes. The 14.5 mm bowl on top of the cylinder is the most common standard size in the headshop assortment. The included funnel bowl is ready to use with cannabis. If you want a different bowl, an ashcatcher, or another accessory, all 14.5 mm accessories are compatible. When purchasing, check whether the bowl is male or female to ensure the correct fit.
