Active ingredient

It is the only known potent non-alkaloid psychedelic and acts as a selective kappa-opioid receptor agonist, with no affinity for the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor targeted by classic psychedelics such as psilocybin and LSD. This explains the distinct experience profile: more dissociative in character, shorter in duration, and with a different sensory quality.
Salvinorin A is rapidly metabolized, which explains the short duration of action when smoked. At the 30X concentration, the required amount per session is extremely small, and accurate weighing with a precision scale is not an option but a requirement.
Use and Dosage
Salvia extract is smoked using a pipe or bong. A starting dose for the 30X is 0.01 to 0.03 grams per session. The amount is completely burned in a single long inhalation and held in the lungs for as long as possible, usually 20 to 30 seconds, for maximum absorption through the lung tissue. The onset occurs within 5 to 30 seconds after exhaling.
Always weigh accurately using a precision scale that measures hundredths of a gram. With the 30X, the effective dose is so small that a standard kitchen scale is insufficient. Start with the lowest possible amount and wait at least one day before considering a follow-up dose.

Harm reduction
Salvia divinorum is one of the most potent known psychoactive plants. At the 30X concentration, the effects can be completely disorienting, even for users with extensive experience with lower concentrations. The risk of an overwhelming or frightening experience increases as the concentration rises.
Never use alone. Always ensure a sober companion remains present throughout the entire duration of the experience and can physically intervene if necessary.
