Gelatin ''0'' 100 Empty Capsules

These empty capsules are size "0", a more compact size than the commonly used "00" and "000" sizes in capsule filling. A capsule of this size holds around 450 mg of dry powder, ranging roughly between 400 and 500 mg depending on the density of the powder you use. Like the larger sizes, the capsule consists of two interlocking halves (cap and body) made of gelatin, an animal protein derived from collagen. Use

Pull the two halves of a capsule apart, fill the body with the desired powder or herbal blend and press the cap back on until you feel it click. Filling a whole pack of 100 pieces by hand takes time; the "0" Capsule Filler fills a large number of capsules at once by spreading the powder evenly over the open bodies, dosing faster and more consistently than filling loose capsules by hand. Weigh or measure the amount of powder per capsule if you want to keep a consistent dose per piece, especially with potent herbal extracts.

Storage

Store the capsules dry and away from direct sunlight, preferably in the closed original packaging. Gelatin is sensitive to moisture: too much humidity can make the capsules soft or sticky, while an overly dry environment can make them brittle. Do not store them in a humid room such as the bathroom.
