These alcohol swabs are small, pre-soaked wipes (approximately 4 x 5 cm) impregnated with a solution of 0.5% chlorhexidine digluconate in 70% ethanol. This combination is widely used to quickly clean and disinfect the skin, for example before using a needle, inoculation point or cutting tool. All 150 swabs come in a single dispenser box, so you can pull them out one at a time without touching the rest of the stock.

Use

Pull one swab from the dispenser and wipe it over the skin or surface you want to clean. Let the alcohol sit for a few seconds and air-dry for the best disinfecting effect. Use each swab for a single application and discard it afterwards; reusing a swab reduces its effectiveness.

Storage

Keep the dispenser closed in a dry place away from direct sunlight so the swabs don't dry out prematurely. As long as the box stays closed, the swabs remain usable for a good while.
