Ginkgo Biloba 10:1 extract - 3 grams

Ginkgo Biloba is a Japanese nut tree native to China. Typically, there are no immediate effects when using Ginkgo. It is only after several days or weeks of regular use that the beneficial effects can be noticed.

Use of Ginkgo Biloba

The crushed leaves are often used to make an extract or tea. The recommended dosages range from 4 to 12 grams per day. Note: 1 gram of this extract is equivalent to 10 grams of regular Ginkgo Biloba herb. 

Warning

Ginkgo may enhance the effects of blood thinners. It may also interact with insulin and other diabetes medications. Ginkgo blocks the action of the CYP3A4 enzyme, which inhibits the metabolism of certain medications. Ask your doctor if you are taking this type of medication.
