Cultivation

Growing your own tobacco plant isn’t that difficult. It’s best to start early in the season (around March). The seeds germinate easily, and the plants thrive under various conditions. Germinate the seeds in a small pot covered with a bag and keep them well-moistened for the first few weeks. After a few days to a week, the seeds will germinate, and after a few weeks, the seedlings will have their first leaves. At this point, you can transplant them into a larger pot. Keep them slightly sheltered for the first week. After that, place them in a sunny and warm spot. Nicotiana tabacum thrives best in rich, moist soil.
