5 Questions About: Cannabis
If you’re going to use cannabis, or are considering it, you naturally want to do it the right way. Only then can you get the most out of it and enjoy it to the fullest. However, we can imagine that you still have quite a few questions, especially if you’re just starting out. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of five interesting questions about cannabis and its use for you.

Hashish and weed: are they the same thing?
Both hashish and marijuana/weed come from the female hemp plant (Cannabis sativa). However, hashish and weed look different and can also have different effects. The exact effect of the type of cannabis you use depends on how much THC and CBD it contains.
Do you get extra high if you wait longer to exhale the smoke?
Scientists have discovered that your lungs absorb as much THC as they can in the first three seconds. That’s all you need. If you hold your breath longer because you think it will have a stronger effect, you run the risk of letting substances into your lungs that you definitely don’t want there. Besides, it just looks a little silly, don’t you think? In short: three seconds is more than enough for the desired effect!
Can you incorporate cannabis into other foods besides the well-known space cake?
Absolutely! For example, you can make cannabis butter, drink a smoothie or cannabis tea, or maybe try some marijuana ice cream! Cannabis works well in baked goods like cakes and brownies, but you can certainly do other things with it too. Of course, you’ll find a wide variety of unique recipes online that you can use to get started.

Can you take a lethal dose of cannabis?
An overdose of cannabis is possible, but only if you define an overdose as experiencing unpleasant sensations. A fatal outcome is actually not possible. So don’t worry if you’ve been a little too enthusiastic once in a while!
Can you grow your own cannabis?
Actually, the answer to this question is simply no. However, the “penalty” depends on the number of plants you have and what you ultimately plan to do with them (or appear to be planning). Growing five plants or fewer, without technical aids (such as a grow tent or a special lamp), does not lead to prosecution. However, the police will confiscate your plants if they are discovered. If you have more than five plants, the police will assume it’s commercial cultivation or at least cultivation intended to generate financial gain: this can result in a prison sentence of several years and/or a fine of tens of thousands of euros. So, you’re better off just buying your weed at the coffee shop.
