Trying magic mushrooms for the first time? Tips and tricks!

If you’re trying magic mushrooms for the first time, you might be pretty nervous about what to expect. To
ensure you’re well-prepared and know what to expect, here’s some useful information and
important tips.

Know what you’re taking

If you’re not familiar with them, you’ll be more likely to rely on others than you might normally. However, it’s
important that you know what kind of magic mushrooms (and what dosage) you’re taking, and that you buy them from or use them with someone
you trust.

What is the right dosage?

Especially the first time, you shouldn’t take too many magic mushrooms. The amount you should take depends, among other things, on
your body weight (the heavier you are, the more you need for a trip) and your gender. It is known that women
generally react more strongly to magic mushrooms than men. Start with half a dose and then wait
an hour or an hour and a half. If you feel okay then, you can just take the second half of the dose. Especially the
first time, it’s always a matter of trial and error! The dosage also depends on the type of magic mushrooms you take. The
potency can vary greatly from one batch to another.

Make sure you don’t eat anything for at least three hours before taking magic mushrooms! Magic mushrooms work fastest and best on an empty stomach. And of course, don’t use any psychoactive drugs before or while consuming magic mushrooms!

The trip itself

If you’ve taken a full dose of magic mushrooms, you could easily be out of it for 5 to 8 hours. The effects are
everyone, so it’s hard to predict exactly what will happen. We often hear from our customers
that it’s a good idea to create a sort of “chill spot” around you, for example with some pillows or a mattress. For
people going through a magic mushroom trip, it’s nice to be able to just chill out.

Ingredients for a “bad trip”

Not everyone experiences a bad magic mushroom trip, but there are factors that can contribute to a less
successful trip. The most important thing is to take the magic mushrooms at a time when you feel calm, happy, and at ease. If you
already anxious or worried, or if you’ve just gone through something that’s really getting to you, this can result in a bad trip. A
unrestful environment where you don’t feel comfortable, or a sudden event during your trip can send the trip in a different direction. It is therefore also important that you are with people you trust, and that you take the magic mushrooms at a time
when you won’t be disturbed.

A few more questions…

of reality. However, this is separate from the magic mushrooms themselves.

  • Can you overdose on magic mushrooms?

Officially, you would have to take an enormous amount of magic mushrooms to reach the point of a physical overdose. In practice,
, the actual risk of a magic mushroom overdose is incredibly small.

  • How can you use magic mushrooms?

You can eat the magic mushrooms, make tea with them, or mix them with orange juice and drink it. It’s up to you to decide which method of consumption suits you best and what you like
like.
