Even though we’re in the midst of a pandemic—during which smoking and vaping aren’t exactly the best things to do—the world of vaporizers continues to grow. More and more people are seen with an e-cigarette or vaporizer in hand, and that means manufacturers of these popular devices have their work cut out for them to stay relevant. Luckily for us as users, because that even means we can expect real “smart” vaporizers in the near future! Curious about the future of vaporizers too? Let’s see what they have in store for us…

Smart technology in your vaporizer
Most vaporizers you buy in stores today (and right here on Dutch-Smart) are fairly simple. You have a button, some temperature indicators, and that’s about it. But while manually operating a vaporizer and then discovering the perfect setting and temperature is considered an art by many, most of us simply don’t have the time (nor the patience!) to fiddle with various controls. If you’re part of that group, you’ll be happy to hear that new vaporizers are getting a lot smarter. Think of integrated mobile apps that automatically adjust the device to the right setting for your liquid, vape herbs, or cannabis. The Crafty+ vaporizer is one such smart device and is easy to control with a mobile app!

Portable vaporizers are becoming even more popular
According to many people, nothing beats a desktop vaporizer, also known as a tabletop vaporizer. They are often of higher quality and have much more power than portable models. Yet the market for portable vaporizers is growing steadily, and these models offer countless advantages. For one, they’re incredibly easy to carry with you, you don’t need a table to use them, and their quality keeps improving. There are already great herb vaporizers available that feature, for example, the same convection heating found in many tabletop models. This makes such a portable vaporizer a great alternative for people who, for instance, want to quit smoking (or smoking weed) but still want to enjoy their high. In addition, vaporizers are getting smaller and slimmer, so the future of vaporizers looks very ergonomic.

Better designs and comfort
That brings us straight to the next vision of the future: better designs and comfort. Modern portable vaporizers already look more discreet than joints and bongs and come in unique shapes and sizes. Soon, more and more popular brands will likely let users customize the design of their vaporizer. This could pave the way for custom cases that look like they came straight out of a sci-fi movie. In the future, vaporizers may also be able to scale in size in real time to meet the user’s needs. What exactly will that look like? Well, keep an eye on Dutch-Smart, and we’ll tell you all about it as soon as it’s here!

More and more control
One of the most common problems newcomers face is the tendency to overheat or burn the contents of their vaporizers due to inexperience. This, of course, results in wasted time and effort, not to mention less-than-satisfactory vapor quality. Fortunately for these users, future vaporizers will most likely be equipped with more advanced controls that will make achieving the ideal temperature incredibly easy. In addition, temperature settings will likely be more precise than ever. In short: more control, and thus an ever-better vapor!
