Oktoberfest bier - 5L | Brewbarrel

Brewed according to an historic recipe and refined using the finest hops and roasted oak wood – the Brewbarrel Oktoberfest style Festival Beer.

We use a special type of malt, which has been malted according to an old recipe, for our Festival Beer. The Festival Beer has a higher original wort content resulting in an alcohol content of between 5.5 - 6.0 %. To round off the character of the Festival Beer, roasted oak wood chips are added so that it tastes as if it has been matured in a wooden cask. All in the spirit of traditional brewing recipes for the Oktoberfest in Munich. The special malt gives the beer a slightly darker color than is usually found with our Lager. The malt undergoes a special roasting process, which allows the flavors and color to be released, and is complemented by an especially mild types of hops from selected German growing regions.
